In June 2021, EAHP's General Assembly adopted a Position Paper on Hospital Pharmacy Specialisation. The position centres around advancing the profession by harmonising the recognition of hospital pharmacy education, enhancing the role of the hospital pharmacist and preparing the profession for future challenges.
Working Group 2 has produced a report on the impact of hospital pharmacy specialisation on patient outcomes. The report highlights how vital qualified pharmacists with postgraduate education are to patient outcomes.
During the 24th edition of its annual Congress, EAHP organised the first meeting between the Association and representatives from both its member associations and national competent authorities in order to openly discuss and answer any questions related to the Common Training Framework (CTF).
On 31st January 2018, the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) released its Labour Mobility Report during an event hosted on its premises. Representatives of the European Commission, fellow pharmacy organisations and other associations working on the realisation of a Common Training Framework (CTF) had the opportunity to learn more about the views of hospital pharmacists on labour mobility and EAHP's CTF project.
