benefits of Implementing CTF

Students are key element of CTF as they will be the ones applying for the hospital pharmacy specialisation. CTF will imply more mobility for students and graduates since hospital pharmacists will be allowed to practice the profession in other countries without having to repeat their specialisation courses.

  • Raising education standards;

  • Increasing the number of hospital pharmacists per hospital;

  • Better trained hospital pharmacists;

  • Providing long-term possibility of simplified and less labour intensive qualification recognition processes;

  • Improving the mobility of hospital pharmacists (possibility of working in any country with a recognised specialisation);

  • Improving mobility of students and teachers;

  • Better outcomes for patients as the standards to become a hospital pharmacist have been raised;

  • Better jobs opportunity as recent graduates can move and work easily within Europe.
